Short History

Geoff Howatt bought P4A-105-70 in January 1977 from Paul Fenech. Paul had bought it in 1974 from Stephen Brook, who had owned it since May 1971.

He raced it in the national and local series until it was in an accident at Oran Park in June 1980. It ran with a rear-mounted radiator due to overheating troubles I had for a long time. Eventually Geoff found the cause of the overheating but decided to keep the rear-mounted radiator. The chassis was too bent to repair, so it was dumped in a tip at Lakemba. He kept the chassis plate.
